Gopalan is crazy, but the public who rush to buy the tickets do not seem to be so crazy about him. Dileep as a village burglar has entertained us in ‘Meeshamaadhavan’, when Lal Jose was the man behind. Naturally, when he reenters in the same attires, we have every right to believe it to be a copy-paste. But, this is NOT a COPY-PASTE.
Crazy Gopalan is a full-time comedy thriller in all sense. The burglar, who migrates from a village to the city happen to form a gang to accomplish his aims. Most comedy scenes are repetitions of old numbers.
Crazy Gopalan is the first movie directed by Deepu Karunakaran. The director has done a good job in arranging the scenes in a logical manner. In the first phase, the title and the cast will surely attract viewers to the theatres. But on a long run, Crazy Gopalan cannot claim to be a success and compete with other movies in the same lines.
My applause goes to the actors who have done a wonderful job from their slight movements to catchy dialogue delivery. Dileep, Manoj K Jayan and Biju Menon bag the prime appreciation for making Crazy Gopalan an entertainer.
Overall, I rate Crazy Gopalan as a GOOD MOVIE.
